2026 ICSA All-America Teams

The Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association proudly recognizes the outstanding student-athletes named to the 2026 All-America Teams.

Selected by the All-America Selection Committee, these sailors represent the highest level of achievement in collegiate sailing through their performance, leadership, and competitive excellence throughout the season. The All-America Selection Committee is made up of one representative from each of the six ICSA conferences, along with one additional representative each from MAISA and NEISA.

The 2025-2026 ICSA All-Academic Team

The 2025-2026 ICSA All-Academic team has been reviewed and selected. This year, an impressive number of student athletes have been named to the team. The ICSA All-Academic Sailing Team recognizes Juniors and Seniors who have participated as a competitor or alternate in seven regattas (2025-2026) and have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

2026 All-NEISA Awards Announced


Today was the first day of racing for the LaserPerformance College Sailing Team Race National Championship on the Elizabeth River hosted Old Dominion University. Sixteen of the best college teams across the nation qualified to compete in this event for the Walter C. Wood Trophy, awarded to the winning team.
 
Racing got underway around 10 a.m. under party cloudy skies and 85 degrees. It warmed up quickly to about 90 degrees. The winds built to about 13-17 knots from the southwest. It was hiking conditions for a lot of the day.




Today was the last day of racing for the Sperry Women’s National Championship Finals hosted by Old Dominion University. The top eighteen women’s collegiate teams in the nation raced for the Gerald C. Miller Trophy and Boston College took the win.
 
Racing began at 10 a.m. in sunny, hot and humid conditions. Temperatures stayed in the 80s. The winds were from the south oscillating on the course around 6-10 knots. There were a number of general recalls today with the sailors eager to start and shifting winds. Racing wrapped up around 2:30 pm.




The Quantum Women’s Sailor of the Year and Women’s All-American and Honorable Mention were announced during an awards presentation at the Sperry College Sailing Women’s National Championship at the Old Dominion Sailing Center.
 
The Quantum Women’s Sailor of the Year is awarded annually to an individual who has performed at the highest level of competition in district and national championships. The ICSA All-America committee evaluates with great detail all of the finalists’ results and calculates the winner.




The Sperry Women’s National Championship continued today on the Elizabeth River, hosted by Old Dominion University. Eighteen collegiate teams advanced from the previous two days of competition in the Semifinals to make it to the Finals racing. The teams are vying for the national title and the Gerald C. Miller Trophy.
 
Racing got underway around 10 a.m. and the temperatures heated up into the 80s under sunny skies. The winds were from the north and northeast today, which is different from the previous two days of racing and it brought a variety of conditions. At times the wind was light around 4-6 knots and at others it was steady around 8-12 knots.
