NEISA Gear Box
NEISA recognizes that there are a number of barriers to entering the sailing world, one of the biggest being the cost of proper technical gear. The NEISA Gear Box is a platform for sailors to sell these items at reduced prices, functioning to both repurpose extra gear that sailors aren't using themselves, and to reduce the costs associated with needed items for new or returning sailors that may or may not be experiencing financial hardship. Each listing includes information such as size of the item, price, category of the gear, condition, photos, as well as a short description explaining when to wear or use the item to provide educational information for any buyers who aren’t as familiar with sailing technical gear, apparel, and accessories. All items for sale will be visible on the gear box spreadsheet and shipping will be negotiated privately between the seller and the buyer. Once an item is sold, the seller or the buyer should go onto the sheet and just mark it off as such.
