The College Sailing/Gill Coed Championship is a four-day event. May 30-31, 2017 is the Coed National Semifinal Championship in which 36 schools compete to see which 18 will go on to the finals. June 1-2, 2017 is the Championship, in which the top 18 from the Semifinals will compete for the College Sailing /Gill Coed National Championship title. 36 qualifiers competing for the Henry A. Morss Memorial Trophy.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (May 27, 2017) – Today was the first day of racing for the LaserPerformance College Sailing Team Race National Championship on the Cooper River in Charleston Harbor hosted by the College of Charleston. Sixteen of the best college teams across the nation qualified to compete in this event for the Walter C. Wood Trophy, awarded to the winning team.
