New Orleans, LA – 3/5-6/22 – Sophia Reineke ’22 and Katelyn McGauley ’24 of Boston College are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week. Reineke, the BC veteran, and sophomore McGauley were the leaders of the BC team that scored an amazing 24 wins with only 1 to win the Green Wave Women’s Team Race by 6 races.
***Aiden Hoogland and Hank Bailey are the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week***
Warwick, RI – 3/5-6/22 – Aiden Hoogland ’24 and Hank Bailey ’24 of Roger Williams College are the Coed NEISA Sailors of the Week. In the highly competitive Sharpe Trophy Team Race hosted by Brown, Hoogland and Bailey were able to break up Yale’s 1-2 as the two teams sailed toward the finish take the regatta win over Yale.
Around the Conference:
Brown won the Rhody the Riveter hosted by Salve Regina, Yale won the Women's Team Race at Harvard, Roger Williams won the Hap Moore team race and the McMerrick Cup team race in addition to the Sharpe Trohpy. Harvard finsihed in second at the Bob Bavier in Charleston, SC.
