Charleston, SC – 11/5/23 – The Brown University Bears’ Liam O’Keefe ’26, Guthrie Braun ’26, Charlotte Costikyan ’24 and Cam Spriggs ’27 are the NEISA Open Sailors of the Week following their victory at the ICSA Match Race National Championship. O’Keefe and crew completed the round robin in second place, only dropping one race the Yale. They headed into the quarterfinals against Stanford where they went 2-1 and earned a spot in the semifinals against Georgetown. With a quick two wins over the Bulldogs, Brown moved into the finals on Sunday against the United States Coast Guard Academy for a rematch of the NEISA Match Race finals. Brown went on to win all three races and claim the National title.
