***Long and Omura are the NEISA Sailors of the Week***
Cambridge, MA-11/15/16- Trevor Long ’19 and Paige Omura ‘17 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week after winning B-division at the co-ed Atlantic Coast Championship. The duo finished three points ahead of the second place Tufts team. Winning B-division helped secure a victory for MIT which is the first in program history.
Around the Conference
MIT won the Atlantic Coast Championship for the first time in their history with Tufts finishing second. Coast Guard won the Women’s Atlantic Coast Champs with Boston College second and URI finishing third. Connecticut College won the Atlantic Coast Tournament with Brown finishing second.
