Boston, RI—10/8/18-Nicholas Baird ’19 and Sonia Lingos-Utley ’21 are the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week for placing first in A-division at the Harvard Coed Showcase 2. The duo led Yale University to a 1st place overall finish in tough conditions.
***Hibben and Malpani are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week***
New London, CT—10/8/18-Sophie Hibben ’19 and Megha Malpani ’19 are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week after winning B-division at the Stu Nelson hosted by Connecticut. Hibben and Malpani placed in the top-five in 8 out of 9 races.
Around the Conference
Brown won the Coed Showcase A hosted by MIT. Yale won the Coed Showcase 2 and Stu Nelson, while Tufts won the Hewitt Trophy. Boston College won the Sister Esther Open and Salve Regina placed first at the Great Herring Pond Open. Brown, MIT, Bowdoin, Tufts, Dartmouth, Coast Guard, Yale, Roger Williams, Harvard, Boston University, and Boston College all move on to the Coed Showcase Final hosted by St. Mary’s.
