NEISA Sailors of the Week, Weekend 6, Fall 2025


Week 6 Open
The Brown University Bears sailors Tyler Lamm ’28 and Brianna Ross ’26 are the NEISA Open Sailors of the Week. At the 34th Captain Hurst Bowl hosted by Dartmouth, they led Brown to a first-place finish with 26 total points in A-Division, overtaking the reigning A-Division National Champions and ICSA Crew of the Year in the final race of the event. Their strong showing led the Bears to the overall victory over the Stanford Cardinal. 

Week 6 Women
The Harvard Crimson trio of Kate Danielson ’28, JJ Drummond ’27 and Christina Chen ’27 are the NEISA Women Sailors of the Week. At the Women’s Atlantic Coast Championships Finals held at MIT, the Harvard trio won B-Division with a score of 64 points. Danielson skippered the entire event with Drummond sailing the first six races on Saturday and Chen taking over on Sunday. The duo of Danielson and Chen were particularly strong on Sunday, winning three of the eight races and only one finish outside the top six. They traded the divisional lead with Stanford throughout the day, ultimately claiming the win in the final race of the event with a 1st place finish. Their performance helped lift the Crimson to a 2nd place overall finish behind the Stanford Cardinal.
