Providence, RI – 3/1/25 – The Harvard Crimson, Justin Callahan ‘26, Mitchell Callahan ‘26, Robby Meek ‘27, and crews, Kennedy Leehealey ‘26, Rosella Irfan ’27, Alexandra Dorofeev ’25, and Christina Chen ’27 are the NEISA Team of the week for Spring Weekend 1, 2025. These sailors came out hot to win the Liam O’Keefe Trophy with a 7-0 undefeated record. A full round robin of racing was completed on Saturday; racing was cancelled on Sunday due to temperatures below freezing.
Providence, RI – 3/1/25 – The Yale Bulldogs are the NEISA Women’s Team of the week for their undefeated performance at the Women’s Team Race. Skippers Carmen Cowles ’25, Emma Cowles ’25, and Dorothy Mendelblatt ’28; and crews, Ximena Escobar ’25, Sarah Moeder ’26, Carmen Berg ’26, and Jessi Avila-Shah ’25 sailed to an undefeated, 9-0 record on the event. The Women’s Team Race was hosted by Harvard at Edgewood Yacht Club, due to ice on the Charles River. Like the Liam O’Keefe Open Team Race, racing was canceled on Sunday due to cold temperatures.
