Annapolis, MD - 3/9/25 – The Yale Bulldogs are the NEISA Women’s Team of the week for their dominant performance at the Jen Harris Women’s Team Race, hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy. Skippers Mia Nicolosi ’25, Carmen Cowles ’25, and Emma Cowles ’25; and crews Ximena Escobar ’25, Sarah Moeder ’26, Carmen Berg ’26, Clara Díaz Suárez '28, and Jessi Avila-Shah ’25 sailed to a commanding 18-1 record including going undefeated in the top six and final four rounds, losing only one race to Brown in the initial round robin.
Saint Mary’s City, MD – 3/9/25 – The Roger Williams Hawks are the NEISA Open team of the week for their victory at the St. Mary’s College of MD Team Race. The defending national champions resumed their winning ways with a 16-3 record through the event, a three-race differential to the other two teams on the podium. Sailing for the Hawks were skippers Oliver Stokke ’26, Mathieu Dale ’25, Kyle Pfrang ’26, and Carlos de Castro ’26, with crews Addyson Fisher ’27, Claire Buckley ’25, Carly Kiss ’25, and Jed Lory ’27.
