Sailors of the Week, Weekend 2, Fall 2014


***Lambert and Greason are the NEISA COED Sailors of the Week***

Branford, Ct—9/16/14-Deirdre Lambert ’15 and Nathaniel Greason ’17 are the NEISA Sailors of the Week for the winning performance in B-division at the Harry Anderson Trophy.  The duo from Dartmouth won four of the twelve races and only had one race out of the top ten.  Lambert and Greason lead the Big Green to a seventeen point regatta victory. 

***Rhode and Kuntz are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week***

Cambridge, MA—9/16/14-Dana Rhode ’18 and Savannah Kuntz ’17 are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week for their winning performance in B-division at the Toni Deutsch Regatta.  The duo from Coast Guard was very consistent, finishing in the top three in nine of the fourteen races sailed.  Rhode and Kuntz led the Bears to an eight point regatta victory.

Around the Conference—

The opening weekend was a busy one in NEISA.  Dartmouth won the Harry Anderson with Yale second and Brown third.  Coast Guard won the Toni Deutsch with MIT in second and Brown in third.  Dartmouth won the Pine Trophy.  Boston College won the Harman Cup.  UVM won the Penobscot Bay Open.  Roger Williams won the Mount Hope Bay Invitational, Harvard won the Lark Invitational, and Bowdoin won the Harvard Invite.
